With an increase in popularity, you also have plenty of options to choose from. So, if you are not sure where to start, it can be difficult to zero in on the best laser engraving machine.

Lucky for you, this is where I step in to help!

Recently, I was doing my research on the laser engraver tool, trying to find the one perfect for me. I’ve put together my notes to create this informative guide to make things a tad bit easier for you. So, all you need to do is browse through this list and find the best laser cutter for you.

And don’t worry! Because even though there are no rankings, I’ve been super honest with these reviews.

What Is A Laser Cutter?

As the name suggests, a laser cutter is a tool that helps with 3d printing in the manufacturing industry. The actual laser cutting process works with a thin yet powerful laser on the engraving area and helps to fabricate the material by melting, burning, or vaporizing.

This tool is perfect for the industrial sector because it can be used to swiftly slice and cut materials like glass, wood, metal, paper, plastic, and even gemstones! In addition to this, the excellent precision of engraving cutting machines can also make intricate details without using extra tools.

How Much Does a Decent Laser Engraver Cost?

Generally speaking, laser engravers are expensive pieces of equipment that companies purchase for specialized tasks. And while there are some models that cost as low as $200 USD while top of the range models go to well into $1000s, and are available with different financing options.

What Type of Laser Engraver Should I Buy?

Laser engravers are used for precision work that cannot be achieved by other types of machines. They are often used to engrave into materials that are too delicate for traditional cutters or saws. Laser engravers can carve wood, acrylic, soft metal, rubber, and more with extreme precision. These machines use a laser beam to etch an image on the material being engraved.

Before making a buying decision on a laser engraver, consider  the materials you will be working with. Will you be engraving plastics, metals, or something else? The answer to this question will help determine the appropriate laser.

  • Metal– Engraving on metal may be used for anything from key chains and necklaces to presents and brand tags. The engraving is exceedingly precise and accurate. The CO2 Laser Engraver and Desktop Laser Engravers can both engrave a wide variety of metals.
  • Paper– When it comes to cutting paper, the laser engraver is a fantastic tool to have. Engraving on paper is possible with both the HTL QT Desktop and the CO2 Laser Engravers.
  • Plastic– If you want to engrave plastic CO2 Laser Engraver is your best option. Laser engravers can accurately etch plastic without melting it, which is an advantage over conventional engravers.
  • Glass– Also, when it comes to engraving on glass, the CO2 Laser Engraver is your best bet. Traditional engravers are unable to engrave glass or crystal because they are so fragile. Awards, trophies, and wine glasses may all benefit from laser engraving since the engravings are durable and accurate.

What Materials Cant I Cut with Laser?

Laser cutters are amazing machines with a myriad of uses. They can be used to cut wood, fabric, thin metal, and other materials. But what are the pitfalls that users should beware of? Here are some materials not recommended for cutting with laser because they could be destroyed or damaged or what is ever worse, they could be dangerous for your health.

  • PVC– Cutting PVC will damage the lenses and cause corrosion of metal parts in your machinery, as well as destroying your controller.
  • Thick polycarbonate– If you may attenition you may see that many laser cutter’s windows are constructed from polycarbonate. That is cause the material absorbs infrared radiation and this also makes it almost useless at cutting thicker than 1 mm polycarbonate.
  • ABS– ABS is difficult to cut or engrave. As a result, it is more likely to catch fire and leave melted sticky deposits on the cutting grid.
  • PolyStyrene Foam- is a real fire hazard and should be avoided near laser cutters. It also tends to melt quickly.
  • Fiberglass– This material emits dangerous fumes when cut, so it is best to avoid it.

Best Laser Cutter Engraver Machines

1. ORTUR Laser Master 2

The Ortur Laser Master 2, which costs as little as $389.99, is perhaps the easiest and cheapest laser cutter I’ve ever used.

Surprisingly, it is pretty simple to construct. It took me only about 15-20 minutes to put together and configure the machine before it became ready to start cutting it for the very first time. I found the15W-powered Laser Master 2’s initial findings a bit unimpressive at best. However, with little experimenting and fine-tuning, it changed and proved to be quite capable.

Seamless Design

All I had to do was position the laser module on top of the runners of a square frame that is bolted-together on an extruded tube. Apparently, this allows the tool head to move around the work area in the X and Y axes, which is all controlled by the computer integrated with a 32-bit main unit and two other stepper motors. The design is quite simple. Nothing too sophisticated really.

How is the setup?

Opening the small box takes just about 10-20 minutes for an experienced guy like me. But even beginners can complete it after about 30-40 minutes. Once done, I plugged it into a computer and loaded the software I preferred. For me, Lasergrbl was the most convenient one to use. I tried it out with LightBurn but it failed to function on my PC and Mac. Then I switched to LaserGRBL and it worked perfectly with the Windows system.

2. Genmitsu CNC 3018-PRO

I was looking to get into some CNC and decided to order this machine. I watched some YouTube videos about the Genmitsu CNC 3018-PRO Router Kit GRBL Control and I was convinced this was the unit I needed to challenge myself with.

Good for the regular beginner

When I received my package, it came very well packaged, making it even easy to assemble. After downloading the drivers and software, I was ready to get into it all. But CNC is a continuous learning experience, and one may mess up a few times when getting started. Just like any CNC machine, all you have to do is direct the g code and it does what you programmed it to. This cutter handles every detail particularly well. It might not make deep fast cuts, but it will do the job very accurately.

Easy assembly

I bought this CNC cutter and I’m very happy with how easy it is to assemble. With just a few configurations, it will be up and running for you to do your first project. I got some end mills and they actually worked superb especially when cutting out huge projects such as aluminum.

3. Flux Beamo 30W Desktop Laser Cutter & Engraver

In my frame shop, I have several 3D printers, as well as a CNC router and other diode laser engravers. A CO2 laser cutter, on the other hand, is something I’ve always desired because it enables one to mark and cut a wide variety of materials with minimal setup and mess. As a result, I was looking forward to getting this FLUX Beamo 30W Desktop Laser Cutter & Engraver.

Compact, Easy and Straight to the point

Compared to other ordinary laser cutters that are heavy and bulky, Beamo does have dimensions as four normal sheets of paper which also weighs just under 50 pounds compared to the others.

Undoubtedly, Beamo is the most compact laser cutter to come out of FLUX. The Beamo is designed to be tiny while also being a lot capable. It is delivered in a single package that is simple to set up. The machine itself is contained in the box, along with everything you’ll needs to configure. It includes a vent tube that directs the chemical fumes far from the machine.

Well integrated and versatile

Setting up the Beamo Laser Engraver is quite easy especially when using the vivid touchscreen. I could connect my machine via the Ethernet or use the Wi-Fi adapter to connect to my home network. The Beam studio software could also integrate with my macOS laptop, Windows and Linux if I wanted to. Beam Studio can be regularly updated and is quite easy to use because it provides various presets for different equipment. I had the option of choosing basic shapes to design some of my simple parts but could also access external vector formats such as DXF or SVG.

4. NEJE Master 7W Laser Engraver Machine

If you’re relatively technologically savvy, this NEJE Master 7W Laser Engraver Machine can be quite convenient for your engraving needs. I do use this machine primarily to carve elegant patterns on bamboo, wood, organic boards, and more. As a craft designer, I can guarantee it has served its purpose – so far.

Safe to use

If I have to operate a complex machine, at least let it guarantee some safety measures. This engraver comes with an installed gyroscope protection system. Whenever the laser engraving machine is turned on, the integrated gyroscope records the initial operating position. To avoid an accident, the device will automatically cease operating if it is accidentally touched or shifted.

Convenient to use

This NEJE Master 7W Laser Engraver Machine may be promptly reset using the breakpoint memory function where one can double-check their work after pausing for a bit and then resuming operation from where you left off; the application allows you to modify the laser strength to your specific demands.

Easy configuration

The NEJE Master Laser has two processors and can run two firmware concurrently. When you run the software, the machine recognizes it and connects to it immediately. The NEJE Windows software and the NEJE Android APP function together in NEJE mode. This mode is appropriate for beginners because it is basic and can assist in the formation of high-quality works.

5. Foxalien LE-4040 PRO Desktop Laser Engraver 20W

LE-4040 PRO Desktop Laser Engraver is designed with fast assembly and is simple use. As an amateur, hobbyist or beginner, you can use this machine to explore the engraving world to create your own works and have some fun while you’re at it. What makes this product a smarter choice:

It does the job

LE4040 comes with a 5000mW class 4 laser unit that can engrave and cut different types of material such as plywood, leather, cardboard, acrylic, etc. What’s more is that the laser focus is adjustable but one has to always use protective wear while operating.

Its sos1000 laser power range can reach an optimum engraving speed of 3000 millimeters per minute which really helped out when I was doing some bamboo carvings. The belt-driven x and y axis helps reduce working noise.

Pretty easy to assemble

This laser engraver takes about 10 – 20 minutes to fully assemble. The main parts actually come pre-assembled and there is no complicated installation at all. I thought this was quite considerate especially for beginners and professionals who don’t want a hassle.

Compatible software

FoxAlien LE-4040 is compatible with laser software such as GRBL, Grblcontrol (Candle), Lightburn, and more. I use Windows 10 but I found it convenient when I felt like using my MacOs just for curiosity. You can also use Windows XP (if you still do), Windows 7/8/10, and even Linux. It’s all up to you there.

6. GanGou 3000mw CNC Pro DIY Logo engraver

I’m just starting a small woodwork business for my daughter and I figured I could start laser engraving wood items for her clients to sample and get inventory to start up the shop. I wanted to try out the Gangou Laser Engraving Machine because it was inexpensive and it showed me an idea of what I would expect when I laser it.

Easy assembly in just 10 minutes

When I took delivery of my engraving machine, the instructions were just plain and easy to understand. Even though the drive they sent had too much Mandarin language, I counted myself lucky because I know much about computers. This made it easy for me to laser my first item within a few minutes of opening the box. If you’re not computer savvy, this machine may not be for you.

Basic software

The software might be basic for anyone to understand. For beginners, it might be even better. But for pros, it can seem a little annoying. There are no grid lines so you have to guess around the piece until it becomes what you want engraved. Unfortunately, it does not support MacOs. Instead, it works well with Windows operating system.

Great power and speed

I have used it a couple of times on cedar, maple, pine and hoop pine. The pine sap depletes when one lasers it to the point you can have really deep burns on the wood. If I configure it to 100% laser power and 20 for depth, it can cut 1/8 inches deep into the pine – which is quite dramatic. But the high-speed capability offers a thick base that can provide the high-quality acrylic with a smoother finish.

7. Bachin (500MW) DIY CNC Engraver Kits Wood Carving Engraving Cutting Machine

I’m not a talented artist when it comes to drawing with my hands. That is why I chose to use programs to help make my pictures look better. When I discovered that I could easily use a laser and make pictures directly on wood, I became more interested. But I thought if it was too easy, just about anyone could do it. After some research, I found Bachin DIY CNC Engraver would suit more. I liked it because:

Quick Assembly

When my engraver arrived, it was well packaged and it took me about 15 minutes to assemble. It was super easy because all I had to do was pay attention to the YouTube videos showing how to assemble it together. I could easily figure out which side you I should attach the parts to the plexiglass because the holes are located in different spots.

Tech Support

After getting it all together, I uploaded the software from the website. It didn’t work the first time because I didn’t really know much of it and got discouraged with a few fails here and there. I contacted Bachin tech support and they were literally a lifesaver. They helped me get better at my craft and were so responsive and quick to solve my problems. That was definitely a plus for me.

Is it worth it?

I could say that this engraver is definitely worth the money. As of now, I use both the 500mw and 2500mw versions. I can do great engravings using the 500mw when you get used to it. But you have to be sharp about it and take note of the different levels of engraving that come with different materials because not all wood brings the same results.

On the other hand, the 2500mw can cut 1/8 inch deeper of basswood as long as you get the settings right. I have used it to cut wood, paper, vinyl and even felt. It is all up to you to decide depending on the project you want to undertake.

Best Laser Cutter And Engraver For Small Business

8. BobsCNC E3 CNC Router Engraver Kit

BobsCNC E3 CNC Router Engraver Kit

When it comes to laser cutter engraving machines, BobCNC really knows a thing or two about them, which makes this model an obvious no-brainer!

Needless to say, I was taken aback by the overall quality of the machine. However, its features are what make the E3 really stand out from the rest.

Here are some of the E3 features that I liked best.

Impressive Rail Guides To Keep You On Track

If you are anything like me and like a little extra support with the router, you are sure to love the E3 laser cutting machine. In simple terms, the rail guides serve as a guide and support for the CNC router, which is especially useful if you are a beginner to the tool.

Even if your computer runs with the best software and vector files in the world, you would still be doomed if the router does not have good positioning accuracy.

Besides, the rail guides will help define the quality and resolution of your final product. So if you are keen on perfect results, the E3 is a must-try laser cutter for you.

Comes With An Online Instruction Manual

Undoubtedly, laser cutters are not the kind of investments that you can make every day. So when you purchase a laser cutter of your own, you will do your best to learn how to use it with the instruction manual properly.

But what if you lose these sheets? What happens then?

Fortunately, the E3 laser cutter comes with an online instruction manual that is easy to access and follow!

Finest Resolution Quality And Precision

As mentioned earlier, the E3 comes with stellar precision to start engraving both your DIY projects as well as professional projects.

But what makes this one of the best laser cutters is the in-plane axes located on the drive. This helps the device maximize power and minimize fuss. So, would I recommend this to you? Yes, absolutely!

High Step Size For Maximum Productivity

If you want a CNC machine with maximum productivity and resolution, the E3 is the best one for you. As per the manufacturer’s quote, the device can make up to 80steps per millimeter!

This way, you can test the limits of this CNC cutter and push your projects to perfection!

9. OMTech 60W CO2 Laser Engraver Cutter

Orion Motor Tech 60W CO2 Laser Engraver Cutter

I am a big fan of Orion motor (now OMTech) tech’s tools and equipment, mostly because of the high-quality tools and big reputation. So, when I saw the OMTech 60W CO2 Laser Engraver Cutter, I just had to get my hands on it to test it.

Generous Working Space To Work Without Disturbances

When I first saw this laser engraver machine, the working space is what caught my eye because it is enormous! This makes it perfect for engraving materials, both big and small!

Moreover, it comes with drive’s high resolution works exceptionally well with this spacious working area.

With most laser cutters, I lost the resolution for a while when I tried to increase the space of the working area as the step was minimal.

However, with this laser cutter from OMtech, I had no issues.

Powerful Laser Beam To Cut Through Marble And Ceramic

Most laser cutters do not do a swell job of cutting through non-metal materials like marble and ceramic because they are a bit tricky. But that is not the case with this laser engraver!

Thanks to 60 W power from the OMTech’s laser cutter and engraver, you can slice marble, ceramic, and almost any type of material.

Comes With A Built-In Air Compressor

If you have already used a laser engraving machine before, you would know that it generate a ton of waste in heat. And if you aren’t careful enough, you can even risk a thermal shock.

This is yet another reason why I really appreciate this laser cutter, as it comes with a built-in air compressor! The compressor will always keep the cutting surface cool no matter what speed the cutter is running on.

Simple Yet Efficient Red-Dot Guide

While using this device, I also noticed that there was a little red dot moving around, which served as a guide to my eye. As I engraved through the material, the red dot followed and gave me a quick glance at my progress and helped me stay in focus.

This is an extremely useful feature, especially if you are trying to create something with an irregular, indefinite shape.

10. Kohstar Laser Engraver Cutting Machine

Kohstar Laser Engraver Cutting Machine

The next laser engraver that I would recommend to you is the Kohstar Laser Engraver Cutting Machine. If you are looking for a laser cutter cut that can do anything, this one is the best one for you!

Powerful Cooling System

As mentioned earlier, a laser master tends to get heated during the process of laser engraving. To add to this heat, fumes, and gases are also produced during the wood engraving process.

Moreover, laser cutters come with a highly localized laser, which prevents you from feeling a thing even while standing next to the laser cutter engraver. But for your device and the material, this heat will feel like a furnace.

This is why you need a powerful cooling system to manage even the hottest situations. This way, you can get your work done smoothly and cleanly.

Moreover, the in-built cooler will also not have you installing a separate one to manage the heat.

Extensive Working Area

Needless to say, the 400 x 600 mm working area of the Kohstar Laser Engraver Cutting Machine takes the cake for being the largest workspace on this list!

This means you will have more than enough space to do sheet work, experiments, and other testings!

Comes With An Operational Rotational Axis

I think this is the most remarkable feature of this laser cutter, and I’ve been really excited about it!

As the name suggests, this laser cutter and engraver comes with a rotational axis that allows you to work on all shapes, including spheres and cylinders.

This also helps you to trace the shape of your desired pattern with just a single click! And since this feature got me super excited, I decided to put it to the test, and oh, boy! I am thoroughly surprised that not many laser-cutting brands do not include this as a standard feature!

Power-Packed With Adjustable Features

Just when you think the Kohstar Laser Engraver Cutting Machine has nothing more left to offer, it strikes back with the best adjustable features!

With this, you can change and alter anything! With an adjustable laser power to flexible tool head and laser head, you can make the modifications you desire to create a fantastic design.

I also find this feature to be extremely useful for professional workshops where a lot of optimization is needed. Besides, a speed and power that works for one laser cutter might not work the same for another laser cutter. So why not choose this and enjoy flexibility?

11. SHUOGOU 15000MW Laser AS-5 Carving Machine

SHUOGOU 15000MW Laser AS-5 Carving Machine

Now, this is the laser cutter that I have been super eager to talk about. The reason behind my excitement is that the manufacturer has made bold claims of a 6-micron resolution that can complete 5-steps and make them as thin as the width of a hair strand!

It Comes With A Mini Engraver

Want a high-power laser engraver that you can keep inside your home? I would recommend you this laser cutter with a mini engraver for all your DIY home-style projects!

It might be small, but it is powerfully packed with a precise laser cutter to get your job done in a jiffy.

When this high-power laser is paired with the 14 x 20 cm and the 6.25 microns step size, this becomes one of the best laser cutters on this list!

Unique Plug And Play Option

Thanks to the simple installation process of this laser cutter, I sound made a fantastic discovery of its plug-and-play feature!

The instruction manual is also crisp and clear, which makes it easy for you to get started.

Can Slice Through Stainless Steel And Anodized Aluminum

Technically, laser cutters should be able to cut through any materials with excellent precision. However, different laser cutters have different cutting abilities.

But since the SHUOGOU 15000MW Laser AS-5 Carving Machine is designed for home projects, you can cut through common house supplies made of steel and aluminum!

However, make sure to double-check with your requirements and the materials you want to work with. This will help you decide if this is the right laser cutter for you.

LaserPecker L1 Super Pro Laser Machine

LaserPecker L1 Super Pro Laser Machine

Similar to the premium brands mentioned in this list, LaserPecker is also a high-end brand. Initially, I was surprised by the unbelievably high price point. However, after testing it out, I found that it was worth every penny that I spent!

Wide Application Options

This engraving machine is a little compact in design. However, it still comes with incredible features that let you cut through several types of materials, including paper, wood, fabric, leather, felt, and even fruit!

It also has a patented Easy Etcher that cuts through these materials with maximum accuracy and precision.

Come With In-App Editing Features

Whether you are engraving or cutting through a material, it is nice to have a guide to let you know how you are working under the laser.

That is why this engraving machine comes with an in-app editing feature as well as a preview mode to help position the laser properly before you get started.

I found this extremely useful, especially while engraving on tiny objects and surfaces.

Comes With An Auto-Focusing Support Stand

The best feature about this engraving machine is that it has an auto-focusing support stand to help measure the distance between the object and the laser.

If the distance needs to be adjusted, the in-built sensors on the auto-focus stand adjust the height automatically to ensure optimal distance! How cool is that!

Best Laser Cutter And Engravers Under $500

13. Atomstack A5 Pro 40W Laser Cutter

Atomstack A5 Pro 40W Laser Cutter

The price of all the above-mentioned laser cutter engraver tools is quite high. However, they are all loaded with all the right features to make them worth their price. But what if you are shopping on a budget? Is it still possible to get high-quality engraving machines to laser engrave your designs?

Yes, absolutely! And according to my research, the Atomstack A5 Pro 40W Laser Cutter stands as the best laser cutter under $500.

Decent Working Space

Unlike the other ones on this list, this laser cutting machine comes with a working area of 16×15 inches. And while this might not be the biggest in shape, it is still compact enough for small projects and workshops.

Moreover, this engraving machine comes with a solid metal development arrangement. This helps to simplify the working process of the engraving cutting machine and makes the machine more durable.

Reasonable Laser Power

Because of the average price point, this laser master has a cutting speed that runs at 40W laser power, which is more than enough for smaller projects.

However, while using this laser cutter, I noticed that my engraving experience was very premium, and the results of the 3D printing were very high-quality. This is something that blew my mind, mostly because of the affordable price point.

Comes With A Fixed Focus Laser Power

I was also very impressed with the Atomstack A5 Pro 40W Laser Cutter’s fixed focus later, which is a rare feature among most laser cutters.

This is because this model comes with a 455 nm spectrum diode laser that can engrave materials uniquely and efficiently.

In addition to this, the cutter also comes with convenient removable drivers that can be easily replaced without much hassle when needed. You will also find a 3rd stepper driver socket, but it is not very cramped up within the machine.

In addition to this, the cutter also comes with short circuit protection to ensure your safety while using the device. All these features combine to work as a multi-functional board.

And here’s a quick tip! I purchased my own onboard cameras and installed them on this table. This helped me see every movement of the laser clearly, which was a fascinating experience.

Come With An Offline Mode

Similar to the other laser cutting devices, this one can also be controlled easily with computer software. However, it also comes with a convenient offline mode to let you control the device without being powered by your PC!

This means you will be able to control the different axis manually. However, you will have to pay attention to carefully set the engraving’s location to get the desired results.

Comes With A Warranty Period

Best Laser Cutters For Wood

16. OMTech 12x 8 Upgraded 40W CO2 Laser Engraver Cutting Machine

Orion Motor Tech 12x 8 Upgraded 40W CO2 Laser Engraver Cutting Machine

Next up, we have the OMTech 12x 8 Upgraded 40W CO2 Laser Engraver Cutting Machine. Now, if you are having a déjà vu moment, you are right! You may have recognized this brand as it was mentioned a little earlier on.

But with such stellar features, I had to add its big brother to the list as well!

Let’s see what the highlights of this laser cutter are.

Perfect For Natural Materials

Let’s get the basics out of the way. This laser device might be able to cut metal, but it does wonders for organic materials!

Whether you want to cut wood, paper, or leather, this model is the one you count on to make your design look clean and crisp.

Comes With Smart Safety Features

The next notable feature about the OMTech 12x 8 Upgraded 40W CO2 Laser Engraver Cutting Machine is that it comes with water break protection.

Using a laser cutter comes with plenty of risks, and springing a water leak is one of them.

This is an unlikely event, but since you might set it and forget it, there is a chance of these leaks going undetected. And if this event happens, you will be risking your lasers while also ruining your engraved designs.

This is where the water break protection comes in and helps keep things cool even when the laser cutting service and engraving process gets too hot.

If the feature detects a leak, the device will turn off on its own and enter the standby mode.

Huge Working Space For Maximum Ease And Convenience

The last feature that can be considered as an upgrade from the previous OMTech model is the vast working space. Even though there was no apparent difference between the two sizes, this model has a better density board than its little brother.

However, the size of the working space ultimately depends on your needs and requirements.

18. Uttiny CNC 3018pro-M DIY Mini CNC Machine

Uttiny CNC 3018pro-M DIY Mini CNC Machine

This laser engraving machine is especially useful for students interested in Computer Numeric Control (CNC) as this is known to be the best CNC laser machine on the market today.

This is because not only can it engrave on a wide range of materials, but it can also engrave a design on various CNC models.

Comes With The Latest CNC Version

The feature that I enjoyed the most with this laser engraving machine is that it comes with the latest CNC version.

This, in turn, eliminates the requirement of an extra CNC controller, which was common with the older versions. This makes it easy to operate as well, as all you need to do is have a PC with all the right software, and voila! You’re ready to start!

Ideal For Cutting Different Materials

For easy usage, this model also comes with simple manuals and software. When installed properly, you can use the engraving machine to cut wood, copper, aluminium, plastic, PCB, acrylic, CCL, and so on.

If you do not have a PC at your workplace, don’t worry! You can still use the offline mode by manually adjusting the X, Y, Z axis and starting with the 3D printing process!

Best CO2 Laser Cutters And Engravers

19. Mophorn Laser Engraving Machine 40W CO2 Laser Engraver

Mophorn Laser Engraving Machine 40W CO2 Laser Engraver

Want something that can give you the power of flexibility? If the answer is yes, the Mophorn Laser Engraving Machine 40W CO2 Laser Engraver is the best device for you!

You may have already heard of this brand before, as they hold a high reputation for building great laser engravers with unbelievably high cutting speeds! This allows you to cut through different materials with full details.

Unique Co2 Laser Engraver

Industrial equipment, in general, is quite tricky to operate. However, laser engravers are much more complicated.

As the name suggests, a laser works with a gas that acts as an amplifier to keep things cool even under pressure. And in this case, the engraver comes with a co2 laser to ensure you work safely without the cutter getting too hot.

Comes With CorelDraw

Laser cutters usually come with a USB interface that allows for 3D printing. This is one of the main reasons why laser cutters are also called 3D printers. However, laser cutters require specific types of software in order to work correctly.

And that is why this Mophorn 3d laser printer comes with CorelDraw to input your designs and avoid getting side-tracked easily!

Duo Functioning Laser Cutter

Want to use this device with both the cutting and the carving features? Just use the NewlySeal and NewylDraw software! You might not be able to use the laser cutter engraver at the same time, but you can easily switch between these two functions.

This allows you to make the most out of the laser cutter, which, in turn, helps you save your time and money!

Superb Cutting Speeds

Yet another feature that I was really impressed with about this product is the impressive cutting speed that it has. With a maximum speed of 1.38 in/s, these cutting machines will allow you to easily penetrate your way into metal materials as well as softer materials.

What more could you want from a laser engraver, right!

20. TEN-HIGH CO2 40W 110V 300x400mm Laser Engraving Cutting Machine

TEN-HIGH CO2 40W 110V 300x400mm Laser Engraving Cutting Machine

TEN-HIGH is yet another outstanding brand when it comes to laser cutter engraving machines. In simple terms, they will do exactly what you would expect of them and nothing more. This means they will give you the results you desire by removing any distractions and smoothening the engraving process.

What you will ultimately be working with is a simple-to-use 3D printer.

High Power Laser cutting To Get The Job Done

Unlike the other laser cutters on this list, this one has the most powerful laser cutting service! The laser head alone can shoot out 40W of power which is more than enough to engrave even the toughest materials!

Whether you want to engrave wood or engrave metal, this laser engraver cutter can do it all. However, for safety reasons, I would advise you to first go through the instruction manual and double-check which materials you can slice through safely.

Gigantic Working Space

I am truly blown away by the gigantic working area of the ten-high laser cutter. This is because it comes with a massive 300 x 400 mm working space to ensure you work comfortably without any hindrances!

Moreover, you can easily set up your materials based on your creativity and align them to perfection to make intricate details and designs.

Comes With Useful Video Tutorials

If you are new to the world of industrial tools, you might find it confusing to go through the instruction manual of the laser cutter. There are so many technical terminologies that put you in a fright to even switch on the device!

However, with an installation video done by Ten-High, you will be able to see everything the professional does right from the start and follow it along with them. This way, you will be able to understand the device and start using them faster.

Easy Connectivity To A Desktop PC

Yet another reason why I really love this laser cutter is that you can easily connect it with your computer via the USB port and turn it into a convenient desktop laser engraver for vector engraving! This means you will not have to run out and spend extra money on another adapter or cable.

Furthermore, the desktop laser also allows you to use the plug and play feature, which is highly beneficial for a hobbyist or a workshop!

I also did not have any issues with the compatibility issues of the Ten-High, and the setup wizard helped me to complete the installation process efficiently.

21. Beamo 30W Desktop Laser Cutter

Beamo 30W Desktop Laser Cutter

If you are looking for an engraving machine with a CO2 mechanism, the Beamo 30W Desktop Laser Cutter will be the best one for you.

I was particularly intrigued by this laser cutter as Beamo sold this product claiming that it is the “world’s smallest CO2 laser cutting and engraving machine.”

Lightweight And Portable Design

This engraving machine is probably the lightest laser cutter in this list as it only weighs 50 pounds, if not, even less!

But don’t look at its weight and assume it to be weak. Because even if it is the lightest engraving machine, it is fully loaded with the best cutting speed and laser beam.

This device is powered by a 30-watt laser and runs at a speed of millimeters per second! This is more than enough to slice through wood, paper, and even acrylic.

Comes With An In-Built Camera

Another notable feature about this laser is that it comes with an in-built camera to help capture the slicing action on the surface with crystal clarity.

This helps to ensure precision and accuracy right from the start of the laser power printing process.

It Is Compatible With Smartphone

While most laser cutting devices are compatible with desktops, this engraving machine can work well with your phone.

All you need to do is upload your design on your phone, and that’s it! Watch the spiffy-looking device do its magic!

Wrapping Up

And there you have it, folks!

The world of laser cutters and laser engravers is endless. There are different models available with different features, and they all come at different prices.

If you are looking for a good entry-level option, I would recommend you to choose one from the budget picks mentioned in this article. However, if you are looking for a laser cutter for professional needs, you can consider a model from a high-end brand.

Ideally, there is no right or wrong when it comes to engraving machines. To ensure you get the most out of your device, make sure to cross-check your needs and requirements once to find the best 3D printer for you.
